Description

The Automated Precision Seed Sowing Robot is a student working model designed to showcase how automation and robotics can enhance farming practices. This robot is built to sow seeds at uniform spacing and depth, reducing manual effort while improving agricultural efficiency.

The body of the robot is constructed using foam board or sun board, providing a lightweight yet sturdy frame. Gear motors and robotic wheels enable smooth mobility across fields, while PVC pipes serve as seed holders and dispensing units. The seed sowing mechanism works with precision, ensuring that seeds are dropped in measured intervals.

L-clamps and nuts & bolts are used to assemble the structural framework and fix the components securely. The robot is operated via a remote control, allowing farmers or operators to guide its movement and manage sowing operations with ease.

This project demonstrates how automation can save time, reduce labor costs, and increase crop yield. It is an excellent STEM model for teaching students the integration of mechanics, robotics, and agricultural engineering.
