Ground Metal & Bomb Detection Robot
Description
The Ground Metal & Bomb Detection Robot is an innovative student working model designed for security and safety applications. This robot is built to detect hidden metallic objects and potential explosive devices using a metal detector module. It moves across surfaces with the help of gear motors, while its detection results are indicated using LED strips and a buzzer for visual and audio alerts.
The system is designed with simple electronic components instead of microcontrollers, making it beginner-friendly yet impactful. A PCB board integrates the circuitry with supporting components like transistors, diodes, resistors, SPDT switches, and relays to control signals and operations. A 7805 voltage regulator ensures stable power supply from the 9V battery, while connecting wires link all modules together.
When the robot detects buried metallic objects (which may indicate bombs or weapons), the buzzer rings and LED strip glows, providing immediate warning. This project demonstrates the practical application of robotics in security, defense, and disaster prevention, while also serving as an excellent STEM learning model for students.
